In our horse centre 5 Hucul (4 mares and 1 stallion), 2 half-breed Hucul (Hucul/Welsh), 2 Welsh pony's and 2 full-blood Arabs. The Hucul is an authentic Carpathian mountain horse, it belongs to this region. It is known as a step-certain and clever horse and it has an even, reliable character. There are about 1000 of them left of which 300, in Hungary. A herd more or less wild Hucul's lives in the Aggteleki Nemzeti park.

The tours are adjusted to the riding skills of the riders. We will make sure that these skills will not differ too much in one group, unless you choose to book with a group (at least 6 people) with different riding skills.

During the trips we will stop once and a while at a castle or a church or some other places of interest. During the 2 day trip to the Aggteleki Nemzeti Park we will visit the caves.

The tours are guided by Csaba Szabados, an experienced instructor, who speaks English and – depending on the number of people in the group- his son Andor, who speaks German.

Don’t forget to bring your riding clothing (riding breeches / cap / boots / gloves).


Accommodation

You will stay in our luxurious (4/5 star) rural, architect-reconstructed houses, some with own swimming pool, other with Jacuzzi

Restaurant

The meals are prepared in slow food restaurant Enni & Inni in Szakácsi. Breakfast is also served there. When you go on a tour we will have some packed lunch ready for you. During the trips with a stay outside the village an outdoor meal it is prepared: pörkölt for example or a barbecue.


Group size

Reservations can only be made with at least 2 people and is guaranteed when 4 people make reservations for the same week. The maximum number of people in a group is 8. When you make reservations for a group of 6, that will be the maximum group size for this group. With a supplemental payment you can restrict the group size up to a lower maximum (2-5 persons).


Period

The period in which move2hungary offers the horseback riding holidays is of March 22 up to October 18. The duration is one week minimum and runs from Saturday to Saturday.
